This comic appears to be a continuation of the plot line on Page 1, where Karkat envies Terezi's affections for Dave. As Karkat and Terezi hug it out, Gamzee watches the couple through the window. Karkat reacts to this by elongating his neck such that his face uncomfortably close to Gamzee's face. Does Karkat feel threatened by Gamzee's presence simply because he is a creepy murder clown, or because he suspects Gamzee might steal his girl? Gamzee ends up becoming Terezi's abuser in canon, so it's not out of the question.

I like the visual gag of using a stock photo of an actual person's face instead of drawing the face, and then using the rest of the stock photo as a base for a different character's body. At least I assume that's a stock photo, I'm faceblind so if it's supposed some sort of famous celebrity that silversolicitor expects the audience to recognize, I would not recognize him.
